We were recently commissioned to photograph the University of Queensland’s prestigious Duhig Library (now Central Library) on the St Lucia campus.

Rork Projects were appointed Head Contractor. Works were completed across four internal floors and externally, with a focus on restoring the original entrance as per the intentions of the heritage Brutalist architecture. This change enabled greater connectivity between the exterior and interior spaces.

Location: St Lucia, Brisbane

Interior works: Building refurbishment with heritage works component

Project duration: 24 weeks

Architect: Wilsons Architects, Bornhorst & Ward + Wood & Grieve
